MORRIS 1000 TRAVELLER 1969 Showroom Condition

Purchased new in 1969 by a lady who had a win on "Ernie" when she could no longer drive her daughter took over the car untill 2007, with it showing just 55,000 miles it was then aquired by the last very meticulous owner, who embarked a most careful restoration on a very sound car returning it to its full former glory

Due to natural ageing all the steel panels were removed and individually re-sprayed, braking system and supension fully overhalled with many new items fitted. Stainless steel exhaust system fitted with the whole underside now fully protected with waxoil. Engine striped, checked, and re-fitted with un-leaded head, new radiator, gearbox upgraded and re-built along with the car now sitting on new radial tyres and the much prefered slightly wider morris van wheels

The interior is all original and has been beautifully cared for, new carpets and underfelt have been fitted along with a very tasty group of extra driving guages that could be removed as no extra holes were drilled during the installation

Finished in Trafalgar blue with pale blue upholstery (very classy combination) 57,000 miles, full history.
