A Stunning 1950 Morris Minor Low Light Convertible
Here we have the super rare and most desirable little matching numbers Morris Minor Low Light Convertible first registered on 4th Dec 1950. With over 43 years in the business this is the only second example that I have ever owned, and without doubt the very best we have ever seen
This post production Morris has been the subject of the most meticulous nut and bolt restoration by well respected marque specialists in and around 2010. Purchased by a car collector to join his other fine collection the Morris has seen very little use in the last two years
During the restoration the body was fully stripped down and rebuilt to the very highest standard. The underside including the upholstery all presented with shows firmly in mind so looks like new. The engine bay is ready to show with the correct side valve engine still in place (Rare). All mechanics were fully re-commissioned and since completion the car has proved utterly reliable and well maintained. Mohair hood and side screens are again all new and fit very well indeed. Even has a purpose made hood cover and storage bag stored in the boot
We just love the period colour of this one with its gleaming paint finish and really good panel fit. Boot area is in keeping with the quality of the finished car, and all tools and hand pump stored nicely in the purpose made bag. These early Lowlight Convertibles rarely come on the market and certainly not in this condition. To restore one to this standard would cost well in excess of £25.000 and this ones available now to a loving new home. DEBIT/Credit/Cards/Taken. (Delivery Service Available).
