What surely must be one of the very best all original and beautifully preserved examples of this model out there - a show circuit contender at every level and definitely one not to miss. The Wolseley marque has always been at the forefront in the pioneering days of motorcar manufacturw, and although it ran alongside the likes of the Farina models of that time it was indeed a stand alone, very distinctive model offering the very best leather upholstery, deep pile carpeting, centre-folding armrest in the rear squab, polished wood fascia and garnish rails, all the luxury fittings one might expect in a Jaguar or similar quality motor car.
Finished in the perfect colour combination of Snowberry white over Dove Grey with ox-blood red leather upholstery and just 53,000 miles. Supplied new by Braid Bros Ltd of Colony Bay and registered in Denbighshire on the 1st August 1969.
Since that time this car car has obviously enjoyed by an exceptionally careful ownership, supplied by us to the last two very selective owners and it has returned to the fold in exactly the same beautifully maintained condition as when it last left. Comes with a British Heritage Cert, current V5C registration document, old style Swansea V5, old MOT certificates and tax discs, owner's handbook and sundry invoices with known owners from new. Fully serviced, stainless steel exhaust, electronic ignition, Motorola period radio.
This has to be one of if not the best examples of a Wolseley 16/60 out there and you certainly won't be disappointed. Originality at this level can never be reciprocated - to restore a wreck could cost three times the price and it still wouldn't be this car.
