Morris Minor Convertible Post production 1969 1275cc. Five Speed Gearbox

There can't be many people who when confronted by the sight of a Morris Minor Convertible don't have a smile on there face. Its all part of our British culture really, bit like London buses and black cabs- and when it comes in Old English White with red upholstery you just know its the perfect combination

Well this one has a few surprises in store to enhance the driving experience and make the car so much more user friendly. The first being the very expensive 5 speed gearbox conversation, mated to an upgraded 1275cc BMC A class engine with the bigger inlet valve head (converted to unleaded) all breathing through a 1 3/4 in SU carburettor and a four branch exhaust manifold. Suspension is now telescopics on the rear with disc brakes on the front ensuring the car comes to a firm stop when needed

Driver and passenger comfort has certainly not been overlooked with the installation of two very comfortable fully reclining front seats with head restraints incorporated. Nice little addition is the pod of extra instruments located down on the dash for the driver to observe, and a cig socket for the old sat nav is a very handy thing to have

Nice very solid all steel car restored few years ago but has remained in very good condition with just the odd tiny paint defect if one wanted to be really picky. Excellent door fit and the soft top and hood frame look fairly newish. The period minlite wheels and new tyres really make the car in our opinion, with the wood slatted boot rack being just right for that extra luggage should you wish to carry anytime.
