COACHWORK Finished in deep gloss black and was re-painted back in the 1980's, still looking really smart today there are some imperfections on the front wings but more that acceptable on a well rallied and enjoyed example that is not trying to win next weeks concours. All the chrome still enjoys a mirror like finish and the overall impression is of a well loved old car

INTERIOR Full width excellent leather bench seat to the front, while the two little dicky seats in the boot provide extra space for any passengers and then fold down to allow for plenty of luggage space. The contrasting brown carpets look original and just right, while the highly polished walnut dashboard with glove boxes at either end, and full working instruments in the middle make the car feel very snug to sit in. Hood has been replaced and remains in very good tight condition, has correct Triumph rear window with a metal finishing strip around the skirt

ENGINE RUNNING/GEAR Mechanically the car is in very fine running order, the Standard Vanguard engine has been fully re-built and upgraded to TR3 Spec with twin SU carburettors making the car much more responsive and more fun to drive. The popular four speed floor change is a welcome addition allowing the car to cruise at lower revs, while the stainless steel exhaust provides just the right note for a car of this period. Oil presure is right up from the word go while all the rest inspires full confidence of a go anywhere Vehicle

UNDERSIDE Car sits on five almost new Radial tyres, these really do improve the roadholding tremendously as many owners have discovered to there delight. Superb three and half inch steel chassie running front to rear, road springs have been removed and re-tempered with the brakes all working fine and bringing the car to a quick safe stop

HISTORY loved and enjoyed by the last owner now in his 80's we have old Mot's going back 32 years and many invoices of parts and work carried out on the car in the past. There is a large display board with all the plaques and badges that the car has collected over the years both here and overseas, and it was featured with a photo in the book Classic Cars The Worlds Greatest Automobiles.
